101 Uses for a Ripe Garden Tomato: #17--Weigh It

The 34-ouncer you're looking at is about $10 worth of tomato.

I've been stalking this Pineapple tomato for about a week. (I've got plenty of photos of it on the vine from different angles and distances. Too bad my camera just ran out of memory.) Although the shoulders are still a bit hard, the bottom is getting soft. Worry that the raccoons or something else would get to it before I did kept me awake at night, so in the name of a good night's sleep I decided to pick it tonight.

I think it's going to be a tomato tart tomorrow night.
