101 Uses for a Ripe Garden Tomato: #12--Add Booze

As far as I can remember, before today I have never had a Bloody Mary. (It's entirely possible that I have had a Bloody Mary but just don't remember, mind you.)

After we cleaned up from a day of painting and gardening, we sat in the cool breeze of the deck and enjoyed a few Bloody Marys, which I made using (previously frozen) juice I had made myself. (Ref unfinished August 30 post.) I used a recipe from as a guideline.

O-Folk Verdict: We like Bloody Marys (but have to be mindful when adding the hot sauce--Yow!)

I don't think the rest of the juice in the freezer will go to waste!
