Painting the House Day 20something

We're finally painting! Well, not painting, actually, as the substance that we are applying is primer not paint. However, we're using brushes, and it looks like paint to me, so I'm calling it painting.

Here's the progress we made by lunchtime, after about 2 hours of painting:



I was a bit alarmed at first, as the paint primer had a definite pinkish tone to it when we first opened the can up. I guess mauve, you might say. It does look a little better as it dries, and I just hope our final paint color ("Cottage Red") looks as we expect it to look.
