Today's pic of Our Favorite Scape
See all the other wild & curly scapes? I think I'll harvest them this week. Everything I read says something different on the subject of scapes and when to harvest, but they seem to agree that it should be done before the scapes straighten into a flower stalk, which makes 'em tough.
I'm going to leave Our Favorite Scape, though, just to see if allowing the plant to flower really does decrease the size of the bulb. Stay tuned.
