Lunchtime!

(Maybe followed by a nap.)

Cucumber seedling are planted, as are a few cucumber seeds. They're surrounded on all sides by radish and nasturtium seeds, which I hope will grow to become a fortress against the evil cucumber beetles. (More on this later, if time allows.)

The germination rate for the Cascadia snap peas was exactly 50% (10/20), so I planted seeds around the poles that were left without a pea sprout companion. I'd planned to put in another row or two of 10, but maybe that'll have to wait a week or so. (Germination rate for the Oregon Giant and Dwarf Gray snow peas = 100%.)
