I had two perfectly lovely broccoli plants, about 8" tall, growing in the herb garden out front. When I came outside to leave for work this morning I noticed one was gone, and its partner was gone by the time I got home this evening. There's not even a stem or leaf or anything green left to signify they were there.
I don't know for sure who snatched 'em, but I suspect members of our out-of-control rabbit population.
On a happier note: Peppers, Alma paprika and Romanian sweet, are in bloom.
