Yep, I'm still here. I just haven't been blogging. No one's reading, anyway. If you are, raise your hand. See, told ya.
Today I've gotta clean up the mess in the basement that is my seed-starting operation. That should take all day. I intended to do that yesterday and start planting today, but I had to shake off a sinus headache yesterday. Oh well, best laid plans and all.
There's life in the garden: new growth on the catnip; green onions, leeks, thyme, and alpine strawberries overwintered well; and a bonus oregano plant lived to tell the story. Also, in the fall I had forgotten to pull some of the Romeo carrots that I'd planted along the fenceline. I discovered them, still fresh and perfect, as I scouted the garden yesterday. I think I'll slice 'em up for lunch. I'll have to check around the rest of the fenceline for other forgotten carrots (or radishes).

Yep, the garden has me about as excited as a kitten with a new ball of yarn.
Today is the first day our yard is completely snow-free. It's probably a little early, but if it doesn't rain tonight I might try to poke some peas in the ground tomorrow. We'll see...
