No, not our cats. Or our son. (Although there are days...)
I'm talking about Patty Pan squash.
I've had patty pan at least once a day for the past week. We've grilled it, and I made an extra big pot of this dish, which fed us (Dave and I; Tim wouldn't touch it) each two dinners and something like two or three lunches. (I'd make it again this week, but I'm afraid My Dearest O, who loves anything I serve and happily eats it, will revolt.)
I gave some away to co-workers. And still, bags of patty pan.
Patty pan is low calorie (only 25 calories per cup) and low sodium. It's a great source of vitamins A & C, folic acid, manganese, potassium, and fiber.
Please, help yourself.
