By now everyone knows that vending machines in Japan dispense just about anything you can imagine. For my money, the best machines dispense just plain old coffee, hot or cold, whichever one prefers, and other beverages. You don't have to go far anywhere in Japan to find one of these machines; they're often, literally, on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, next to a field or whatnot.
