Christmas Countdown:
17 days

I designed and made this quilt,
modeled after the traditional
German Advent calendar,
a number of years ago while we
were living in Aurora.

Using it to count down the days
until Christmas has become one
of the Ofamily's favorite holiday traditions.

Surely Disappointment has reigned throughout the land, as I have not posted any photos of what the Ofolk have been eating. Let's catch up, shall we?

Tonight Tim worked as Rossario's. You know what that means: TOFU!

The basic recipe was Tofu with Peanut Sauce. I didn't muck with it too much, except for substituting rice wine vinegar and hot pepper sauce for the white vinegar and crushed pepper, respectively.

Getting everything ready

Frying the tofu

Serving it up with rice and stir-fried snow pea pods.

Itadakimasu!

And if you really must look: Spicy chicken legs, salmon patties, and Tim's favorite,
MEATLOAF!

Cheers,
Barb
